As an affiliate of the Blues Foundation, The Capital Region Blues Network holds local competitions each year to determine three acts to represent the area at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, TN.

In January 2020 Wyld Blu will compete in the Band Challenge, Mark and Jill will compete in the Solo-Duo Challenge and the Young Wildcats will take part in the Youth Showcase.

This special benefit show will feature performances from all three acts. Proceeds from the show will help the acts cover their expenses for the trip to Memphis.
