Exploring the state of LGBTQ Communities in the capitol Region.

An interactive community panel and discussion

This interactive community event will provide participants the opportunity to explore the successes, challenges, and concerns facing LGBTQ individuals and families in a “post” marriage equality society. Some of the topics explored will include race, politics, family, disability, issues impacting transgender and gender non-conforming individuals, and more. Participants will also have the opportunity to work together to strategize ways to support each other and challenge oppressive systems that presents barriers to LGBTQ equity.
