LINA TULLGREN | Belle Skinner | Pink Nois LIVE AT THE LINDA
January 17 at 8:00 pm - 11:00 pm
Don’t miss an evening of music with Lina Tullgren, Belle-Skinner and Pink Nois January 17th, 8pm $12 Advance, $15 Day Of Show, $10 Student
Lina Tullgren is a Queens NY based guitarist, singer and writer. They create songs with 4 releases of varying sizes out in the world to date: an E.P. of sparse solo music, 2 full lengths of rock band music and a 7″ of electronic pop songs written with friend and collaborator NTHNL. It’s music that feels simultaneously gigantic and minuscule, quiet and loud; these songs are small attempts to understand the chaos of existence, to quiet the constant buzz in one’s head.
Belle-Skinner is a dark nostalgic singer-songwriter based in upstate New York and Brooklyn. With a hauntingly beautiful, lilting soprano and innate sense of melody she crafts tales of songbirds, sirens and desert nomads – nuanced and layered stories which bridge the gap between past and present. Though her influences cover a broad range of genres – from French chansons and Russian folk to contemporary alt-pop and rock – her voice often draws comparisons to the likes of Joni Mitchell, Jeff Buckley, early St. Vincent, and Lana Del Rey.
Jorim Motley is a 21-year-old recording artist, actor, creative director and model who uses all these skills to craft his own sonic multiverse as the enigmatic and prolific Pink Nois.
