WAMC Northeast Public Radio and WNYT News Channel 13 will host a live debate between the Democratic candidates for mayor of the city of Albany, Common Councilman Frank Commisso Jr., Common Council President Carolyn McLaughlin and Mayor Kathy Sheehan, on Thursday, August 17th at 8 p.m. at The Linda, WAMC’s Performing Arts Studio. The debate will be broadcast live on WAMC, telecast live on WNYT and online. Doors will open at 7:15 p.m. and we ask that everyone be seated by 7:55 p.m. Panelists include WAMC’s CEO and President Dr. Alan Chartock, News Channel 13 anchor Benita Zahn and WAMC News Director Ian Pickus.
