LARA HOPE & THE ARK-TONES: Open For Take-Out Virtual Concert Series
March 29 at 8:00 pm - March 31 at 12:00 am
Join Lara Hope & The Ark-Tones for a virtual concert at The Linda WAMC’s Performing Arts Studio March 29th at 8 pm.
Unfortunately due to the rise in cases of COVID-19 in the Capital District and surrounding areas we had to pause our weekly Open For Take-Out Virtual Concerts originally scheduled in January in order to maintain safety for our staff and visiting musicians.
We have rescheduled Lara Hope and the Ark-Tones originally scheduled for 01/11/21 to Monday 03/29/2021.
If you purchased tickets to any of the postponed events, your ticket will be honored for the rescheduled date. If you require a refund for your purchase, you will find a link to get the refund in the original email containing your ticket.
About the band:
Winner of the 2017 Ameripolitan Music Award for Best Female Rockabilly Artist, and named the “Best Up-And-Coming Band” by New York’s Hudson Valley Magazine, Lara Hope and the Ark-Tones are the Northeast’s premier Roots Rock n’ Roll & Rockabilly Twang outfit! The Ark-Tones released their 2nd full length album, Love You to Life in 2017, and they have been hitting the road hard, spreading the gospel of American music wherever they go. They’ve spent much of the past few years on the road, both in Europe, and in the US, and had the pleasure of touring with some of their musical heroes, including a 6 week national tour with The Brian Setzer Orchestra, and regional tours with The Blasters, and the Reverend Horton Heat. The band has also had the privilege of supporting some of their favorite acts, including Joan Jett, Tiger Army, Gary US Bonds, Dale Watson, Big Sandy, Wayne Hancock, The 5678’s, Jay Leno, and America, and has performed at at a variety of national festivals including Viva Las Vegas, Ink n Iron, and The Nashville Boogie. Most recently, they were invited to perform at the original site of the Woodstock Festival, Bethel Woods, for the 50th anniversary celebration, and played the same day as Ringo Starr! They recently finished recording their 3rd all-original studio album, which they hope to release later in 2021 (keep your eyes peeled!) Matt and Lara also play as a duo, “The Gold Hope Duo”, and just self-released a very topical album called “Songs In The Key Of Quarantine”, which is now available worldwide.
We at The Linda realize that the impacts of COVID-19 have been dire for working musicians and the music industry as a whole. The goal of this series is to help restart the local music economy by bringing a wide array of eclectic and diverse, local and regional musicians back to the stage in a safe environment and to provide fans with a professionally produced concert delivered directly to their homes via YouTube stream. Similar to some of our in-person concerts, the virtual concerts are ticketed events and just like all concerts at The Linda, the productions will be of the highest quality visibly and audibly.
