Rochmon Record Club Listening Party
The Monkees – “Greatest Hits” A Selected Retrospective

On Thursday, June 15 at 6:30 The Rochmon Record Club will converge to listen and learn about a Selected Retrospective of The Monkees “Greatest Hits” at The Linda, WAMC’s Performing Arts Studio, 339 Central Ave., Albany.
Hey! Hey! The Monkees, driven to mass popularity by their Monday night TV Show, recorded songs written by the best songwriters in pop music. Beginning on September 12, 1966 an entire generation was raised to the antics, and musical stylings, of the lovable American Mop Tops, Mickey, Davey, Mike, and Peter! We’ll be listening to over 20 of the greatest of the Monkee’s hits, including the TV Show Theme song, (“I’m Not You’re) Stepping Stone”, “Last Train To Clarksville”, Pleasant Valley Sunday” ands some surprises! Rochmon Record Club Listening Parties begin at 7 pm with a live audio & video presentation by Chuck Vosganian aka “Rochmon”. A Rochmon Record Club Listening Party is meant to inform and deepen our understanding of the history of the individual performers, the songs, and the stories that went into this iconic album’s making.
