Rochmon Record Club Listening Party: The Who – “Who’s next”

On Thursday December 27 at 6:30 The Rochmon Record Club will converge to listen, learn about and discuss the classic 1971 album “Who’s next” by The Who. Released in 1971 “Who’s next” is the fifth studio album by The Who. Sandwiched in between 1969’s “Tommy” and 1973’s “Quadrophenia”, “Who’s next” features classic Who songs such as “Baba O’Riley”, “Behind Blue Eyes”, and “Won’t Get Fooled Again”. “Who’s next” is an amazing album which helped define The Who and is widely ranked in fan and critic’s “Best Of” lists as one of the best albums ever made.
The Listening Party begins at 7:30 pm with a live audio & video presentation by Chuck Vosganian aka “Rochmon”. A Rochmon Record Club Listening Party is meant to inform and deepen our understanding of the history of the individual performers, the songs and the stories that made this iconic album.
The Linda’s Bar and Snack Bar will be open for light snacks and drinks. The Rochmon Record Club is presented by Universal Preservation Hall. The Rochmon Record Club is held on the 3rd Tuesday of the month at Caffe’ Lena (caffelena.org) in Saratoga Springs and the last Thursday of the month at The Linda in Albany NY, programming varies by location, please check websites for tickets and show information or go to rochmon.com for more information.
