Sly & the Family Stone Greatest Hits

The Linda requires all patrons, staff, and artists to show proof of vaccination against Covid-19 with ID. In addition all guests patrons and artists must wear facemasks regardless of vaccination status. Facemasks may be removed while eating , drinking or performing.

Sly & The Family Stone’s “Greatest Hits” is a collection of 12 top charting songs from one of the greatest American bands of all time! Sly Stewart pioneered and developed Funk Music as we know it today and combined Funk, Soul, Rock and Gospel to create a phenomenon in popular music. Sly & The Family Stone was the first major American Rock Band to feature a racially integrated line up of men and women playing side by side. The Listening Party begins at 7pm with a live audio & video presentation by Chuck Vosganian aka “Rochmon”.  We’ll listen to Sly & The Family Stone’s “Greatest Hits” on The Linda’s state of the art sound system. A Rochmon Record Club Listening Party is meant to inform and deepen our understanding of the history of the individual performers, the songs and the stories that went into the making this iconic album. By listening together, we hear the album again for the first time.

Rochmon Records Listening Party is the third Thursday of every month at The Linda.
