WAMC Northeast Public Radio is proud to celebrate the 35^th anniversary of the Tim Coakley Jazz Show.  Coakley has been keeping the Capital Region entertained and informed on the state of jazz past, present, and future since 1987.  In addition to his work on the air, Coakley is president emeritus of 501(c)(3) A Place for Jazz and maintains an active gigging calendar as a drummer.

This one-day-only concert and live recording session will feature the Skip Parsons Memorial Band, ft. Tim Coakley” a Dixieland group paying tribute to one of Coakley’s longtime musical collaborators. For the second set we welcome  The Peg Delaney Quartet featuring Colleen Pratt. Finally, top jazz musicians from around the region will take part in a jam session to close the night.

Fans of Tim Coakley, WAMC, and the Capital Region jazz community are invited to this free event.
